Hi, let me introduce myself. I’m Cheryl Founder and Director of Recovery Occupational Therapy. I have over 14 years experience in the NHS as a qualified Occupational Therapist. I’ve worked in a variety of settings: acute hospitals, community bed based rehabilitation units, clients own homes, and currently work in Acute stroke rehabilitation. I have experience in rheumatology, medical and surgical rotations and hand therapy. My passion lies in Stroke rehabilitation and recovery after brain injury. Cognitive assessment and physical rehabilitation is my current job role. I’m passionate about what I do, and advocating for my clients. I’m a mother, a wife, a sister and a daughter and therefore, I understand the value of including families and friends in the assessment and rehabilitation process.
