FAQ's

Q: How many sessions will I need?

A: This will be decided along with the frequency of the sessions, depending on  your goal and your baseline.

Q: How much would each session cost?

A: 1:1 Sessions start at £85ph,  block sessions are available. online workshops are group sessions and are priced on enquiry dependent on the topic and length of session and costs will reflect this.

Q: How long is each session?

A: Each session will be tailored to the individual, each session would be approximately 60 minutes , unless our client has reduced attention or fatigue, in which case session would be along as tolerated.

Q: I prefer to talk to you via Online is that possible?

A:This is possible and please advise us if this is preferred, however we do prefer to have at least some sessions in your environment it helps gather further information to inform treatment planning.

Q: I'm concerned about visiting professionals bringing Covid to my house, how can this be managed?

A:Your visiting professional will wear appropriate PPE including Masks,
Hand washing and Hand Gel.
Twice weekly lateral flow tests.
Treatment in a ventilation in the area.

Q:Who do I contact if I feel unwell as a result of treatment?

A:OT intervention, in its nature is low impact and risk assessed, however if you are feeling unwell, As per normal procedure contact the GP for non life threatening conditions, however call 999 if you are concerned that your condition is life threatening. If your feeling unwell during the session Please advise The Recovery OT as your able, to ensure we are aware.

Q:What happens if the Occupational Therapist recommends equipment?

A: All equipment recommended by your OT is to be privately purchased in agreement with an external provider, this is in addition to the hourly rate charged. However, your therapist will support you in seeking appropriate equipment, and seeking 3 written quotes and demonstrations where possible to ensure best value and that all equipment is safe for clients use.

Q:How far will you travel?

A: For Face to face sessions, we will travel within a 20 mile radius from TF1 and this will be within normally hourly rate charged, however outside of this radius i will charge 45 pence per mile in addition.
